Pittsburgh, PA- Nearly a quarter of commercial trucking accidents in the U.S. involve rear impact. Such accidents entail a lot of force due to the size, and weight of commercial trucks, and the speed they are traveling. Sometimes rear-end impact truck accidents result in fatal injuries, a sad reality that is demonstrated by an early December truck accident in Pittsburgh which left one man with life-threatening injuries.

The man sustained severe injuries in a crash that took place on December 6, 2017, around 6:00 p.m. on Route 28 in the Fox Hill area of Pittsburgh. Police say a truck driver from Mississippi was unable to stop his vehicle and rear-ended the man’s Mustang, pushing it into two other passenger autos.
