Kansas City, KS- A motorcyclist in Kansas City was killed last week on I-435 when a semi-truck struck him. Who was at fault for the accident?
KMBC.com reports that the accident occurred on Thursday, May 5, on I-435 near Truman Road when a 27-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle.
Accident Investigators told KMBC that the motorcycle left the road and was traveling on the grassy median when the driver tried to get back on the roadway. In that attempt, the motorcyclist accelerated and lost control of his bike. He then slid into the path of an oncoming truck in the middle northbound lane and was struck.
According to KMBC, the motorcyclist was struck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
