A 59 year old motorcyclist was killed in an accident involving a pickup truck at the intersection of Lakeshore and Whiting roads in Cicero near Syracuse. According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, the 1999 Ford F-250 pickup truck was driven by a Bridgeport resident, John Burchill, 74. He collided with Michael Pulver’s Harley Davidson while turning onto from the westbound lane of Lakeshore Road onto Whiting Road.

Four vehicle Thruway accident ends in death of Syracuse man
In another fatal truck accident, a Syracuse man was killed and four others injured on the New York State Thruway as reported by Syracuse.com. The four vehicle crash was triggered by a pickup truck that veered into the shoulder where a disabled vehicle carrying three men and a tow truck attending to the vehicle were stationed.
