A 10-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash that occurred November 24, 2017, near Flagstaff on Interstate 40.

Arizona Department of Public Safety Trooper Kameron Lee told Fox 10 that a semi traveling in the eastbound lanes of I-40 collided with the rear-ended an SUV hauling a trailer around 4 a.m. The SUV overturned causing the trailer to disconnect before it came to rest on the side of the road.

Trooper Lee told the TV station that a 10-year-old boy in the SUV suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital where he died.
